Latest Assistant Sub Inspector Special Recruitment 2021 Kerala - Vacancy Details

Name of Post: Assistant Sub Inspector (SR for ST only)

There are a total of 16 vacancies for the post of Kerala Police Service Assistant Sub-Inspector. Recruitment will be made for the above vacancies and also for the vacancies reported for Special Recruitment from Scheduled Tribes only during the pendency of the list.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates pass the Pre- Degree Examination of any recognized University or an equivalent qualification.

Note: Achievements in Sports, Military Training, and Membership in the NCC shall be desirable.

The candidates are required to obtain the following physical qualifications.

Age Limit 

20 Years to 36 Years (Only candidates born between 02.01.1984 and 01.01.2000. (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.)

Physical Qualifications

Must be physically fit. Candidates should possess minimum physical standards as prescribed below.

1) Height - 160 cm

2) Chest Measurement - 81 cm with a minimum expansion of 5

6/6 Snellen for red eye

2. Near Vision

0.5 Snellen for red eye

0.5 Snellen for the left eye

Physical Test (Out of the following 8 items, 5 items must be successful) 

1. 100 Metres Run - 14 Seconds 
2. High Jump - 132.20 cm(4’6”) 
3. Long Jump - 457.20 cm(15’) 
4. Putting the Shot (7264 gms) - 609.60 cm(20’) 
5. Throwing the Cricket Ball - 6096 cm(200’) 
6. Rope Climbing(only with hands) - 365.80 cm(12’) 
7. Pull-ups or chinning - 8 times 
8. 1500 Metres Run - 5 Minutes & 44 seconds
